Removing the display bezel

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. WWAN card

    4. WLAN card

    5. hinge cap

    6. display assembly

  3. Pry the edges [1,2,3,4] to release the display bezel from the display assembly. Removing the display bezel
    • CAUTION: There is a very strong adhesive on the back of the bezel that seals it to the LCD, this can take some force to pry apart from the LCD, care needs to be taken when removing the bezel that the LCD is not

      damaged
